Slavic Collection Toolbar

The Slavic Collection toolbar makes available the most important Russian and East European library resources on your internet browser, giving you quick access to library catalogs, journal and newspaper articles, and indexes to make Internet research easier. The Slavic Collection toolbar has three primary elements: Find Articles, which has links to the most common indexes and databases in Russian and East European Studies; Find Books, which has links to IUCAT, WorldCat, and the Center for Research Libraries catalogs; and a link to the IUB Libraries Homepage.Other options on the toolbar include weather and news feeds, but they can be removed to keep your toolbar uncluttered.

All about the Slavic Collection Toolbar

To install

To install the Toolbar, go to the Conduit Toolbar website at Slavic Collection Toolbar. Click "Download Toolbar." Upon installing, you can deselect additional components. You can later edit the toolbar by clicking on the drop-down arrow next to "Slavic Collection" and going to "Toolbar Options." The search box is NOT limited to Russian and East European studies and is not removable. Note: If you are using a public computer at IUB, you may need to use Mozilla Firefox instead of Internet Explorer to install this toolbar.
