Revolutions of 1989 Exhibit
2009 was the 20th anniversary of the revolutions of 1989 in Central and Eastern Europe. This exhibition was prepared
as a way of commemorating the revolutions, let's say, bibliographically. It wanted to show, most of all, what types of materials are available for researchers and students who are interested in that important political event of the 20th century. Thus, it presented, against the background of a poster, eleven categories of materials: participant narratives, witness narratives, journalistic accounts, primary sources, historical monographs, special journal issues, scholarly journals, internet resources, "engaged" journals, dissertations, and reference materials.
