Henri Gaidoz Collection at Indiana University Libraries The pamphlet collection of the French folklorist Henri Gaidoz is available for use at the Indiana University Bloomington Libraries. The emphasis of the collection is French folklore studies (the Celts in France; folk Catholicism; folk medicine; and oral genres) and comparative folklore studies (comparative religion; occult sciences). The Roud Folk Song Index and Broadside Index provide access to traditional English language songs published in books, journals, recordings, unpublished manuscript and tape collections, broadsides, chapbooks, songsters, parlor and music hall productions, and selected sheet music.
The Anansi Folk Tales Collection contains nearly 5,000 handwritten stories, each with a typed transcript, and variants of about 200 trickster tales.
