Roof Decking

The construction crew has begun the installation of the roof decking in the westernmost section of the addition.  In addition to providing the base for the building’s membrane roof, the steel  beams that comprise the roof decking help tie the building’s walls together and provide critical structural support.  The tractor-trailer rig shown here is carrying the next poured concrete wall panel to be put in place, as the crane operator puts the finishing touches on positioning the previous one.
