The collection
The French and Italian collection supports teaching and research in French and Italian language and literature, cultural studies, and related fields. Notable collection strengths include French Enlightenment thought, contemporary French poetry, and Renaissance Italian literature.
The print collection is housed on the 9th floor of the Wells Library East Tower. LC call number ranges for French language: PC 2001-3761; for French literature: PQ 1-3999. And for Italian language: PC 1001-1977; and Italian literature: PQ 4001-5999.
