West European Studies

Pertains to the history and the social and policy sciences that investigate contemporary political, institutional, sociological, and cultural developments in Western Europe and the European Union. Supports the interdisciplinary study of postwar Western Europe and the European Union. Emphasis is on the social and policy sciences, contemporary history, journalism and media studies, as well as other area studies concerns.
